Amy Elizabeth is a visionary artist who likes to describe her paintings and photography as "motivational expressions.” Born in Charleston South Carolina and raised in Springfield Virginia, Amy has been creating art since she was a small child. She has used her love of art in every aspect of her life, and has taken many mediums to include: oil, acrylic, ink, watercolor and photography.

Amy’s interest in art was sparked at a young age and became a strong form of release and expression for her throughout her childhood. While her early forms of art were in the realm of paper and mixed media collage, she picked up a paintbrush at age 28 and began to sit down to explore. She discovered each new canvas offered unlimited opportunities for expression, discovery, and exploration.

She creates her paintings layer upon layer giving the paintings a depth of color, atmosphere and mood. Her work has been described as "inspirational, uplifting, and tranquil." Her enthusiasm and love for what she does is apparent in her inimitable pieces.

Amy loves bold and exciting colors above all else and all the emotions they can evoke. Her goal is to produce a painting that is visually stimulating to the viewers. Amy’s hope is that the collector who sees her work will find the pieces as enjoyable to look at as it was for her to create.
