Button Design Inc. was co-founded in 2001 by brothers Ted and Ken Button to fulfill a life-long dream to work collaboratively with their natural design talents. What has resulted from this design collaboration is a collection named “The Art of Living”, comprised of contemporary mood illumination pieces and occasional furniture. This collection of unique authenticated works reflects today’s urban lifestyle while combining timeless beauty with unmistakable style and substance. Each piece compliments the other and is artfully crafted into simple organic forms that suggest both strength and elegance that was ignited out of two powerful influences, Frank Lloyd Wright life’s work and the Japanese design element.
Our Design Objective: To create timeless authenticated mood illumination and contemporary furniture pieces that will reflect today’s urban lifestyle by combining contemporary design influences with unique style and substance. Our main pieces will be artfully crafted from exotic woods and will suggest both strength and elegance while capturing the unexpected through design or the introduction of a hint of whimsy in vivid-coloured lacquer finishes.
Our Design and Technical Innovation: To combine the elegance of exotic wood, the softness of handmade Japanese parchment and mulberry paper and the strength of contemporary design to create timeless pieces that compliment any contemporary living space. Each piece in the “Art of Living” collection must be an organic part of the whole with design and manufacturing excellence to satisfy the most exacting standards and discerning tastes.
Our Market Application: Global presence with authenticated pieces that will delight the most discriminating customer who has a predilection for design excellence, contemporary style and simple organic form.
