The Paper Stratagraphic:
Since the early 1980’s, I’ve created stratagraphics out of rag paper board. I begin with visualization and sketching to organize relationships of all aspects of design. I achieve exact organization of layers by relating every (cut edge) to precise measurement, meticulously laying out each layer in calculated relationship to every other layer. I use simple hand tools working one layer at a time, before carefully assembling each layer upon the other.
