Much of my work reflects the years that I spent in front of the TV in America in the 1970's.There is a sense of pop culture, and familiarity with the characters who I viewed as my family, the ones emerging from the black and white tv with the rabbit ears.
I have a fascination with superheroes, and use those characters freely as a form of escapism in the paintings. ~Macaulay Woods
