"Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter" Ansel Adams.

The photographs by Candy Dennis are a true example of this statement. Candy states "I have always believed a good photograph should evoke an emotion, a feeling, a yearning. I want those who view my photographs to laugh, to cry, to get goosebumps. If this should happen, I have succeeded".

Candy uses a number of techniques to try to achieve this. Many of her photographs are slide montages, double exposures, Polaroid manipulations or infrared photography. But there are also times when no special techniques are needed, just the breathtaking beauty of nature untouched.
