The first time I ever painted these two people together was in a painting called 'When Worlds Collide part II.' I had them hanging out together in a coffee house. This time I wanted to take a step back and unravel the painting to the moment just before that meeting. He's sitting, absorbed, unaware of her attention. Unaware that his life is about to change.
