The name Nazca refers to the Nazca Indians of South America who made mile long drawings in the desert which can only be seen by plane! In the spring of ninety-nine I purchased the five thousand pound block of Vermont marble this figure was carved out of. I carved this sculpture by hand for three years and thousands of hours, it was an ADVENTURE! New Nazca Stone weighs about twenty-two hundred pounds. The sculpture is available for sale and studio visits can be arranged.
