Elfin, ethereal, flowing, Silf is timeless beauty, sensual and strong but Solitary. She turns her back on the world and lives within her own.

This piece has been carefully painted using my signature impasto technique. it is highly textural with bold flowing lines and a wonderful sense of motion.

This technique is heavily influenced by asian calligraphy techniques. Each line is repeated over and over until it's just right, a perfect blend of motion, line, form and color. the colors in the under-painting are carefully blended to glow as they emerge from the sculpted lines.

Due to the size of this painting it will be carefully de-stretched and sent rolled in a tube to protect the unusual texture. I can provide advice on re-stretching the final image if requested.
