“Ripe”

Created from one rolled out slab of clay this gigantic bowl is like a fruit that just burst form being too ripe, a flower that just opened into bloom. Textured on the outside in forest green hue. Inside the bowl explodes with yellows, oranges and blacks on a scarlet red background. This effect was achieved by the reaction of crystals in the glaze. Absolutely unique! Display it as a center peace or as functional ceramics.
